Keynote Speaker
Dr. Alexandra Cope
"Reclaiming Health Sovereignty for All Stages of Life"
Dr. Alexandra Cope is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and women’s health specialist whose work sits at the intersection of hormone science, trauma physiology, and Elemental medicine. She trained at the National College of Natural Medicine and holds advanced certification in fertility, somatic trauma through Somatic Experiencing International, herbal medicine with Dr. Jillian Stansbury, and 5-Element plant and flower essence work with Joyce Netishen.
Dr. Cope spent years watching women be dismissed, misdiagnosed, and handed prescriptions instead of answers. She left primary care to build something different — a practice rooted in getting to the actual source of hormonal imbalance rather than managing symptoms indefinitely. She offers women real testing, individualized therapies, and a genuine alternative to the default protocols: hormonal birth control, antidepressants, and one-size-fits-all fertility and (peri)menopause treatment.
Her group courses teach women to order their own labs, find the right herbal support, and biohack their hormones on their own terms. This is medicine that puts women back in the driver’s seat — and that’s exactly what she’ll be bringing to “Holistically You” on September 19th!

Title: “Little t” and Forgotten Traumas: The Ones that Still Shape Us
Not all trauma comes from catastrophic events. Many women and families carry the quiet imprint of “little t” and forgotten traumas—experiences that may seem insignificant or fade from awareness, yet overwhelm the nervous system and leave lasting effects on the body, mind, and relationships.
In this empowering session, participants will explore how trauma is defined, how it lives in the nervous system, and why seemingly small or overlooked moments—especially in childhood and birth experiences—can have a profound impact. Through guided insight and practical tools, this session emphasizes validation, co-regulation, and emotional processing as pathways to prevention and healing.
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of trauma, along with simple, accessible strategies to support regulation, resilience, and repair—for themselves and those they care for.

Are joint replacements, urinary incontinence, hysterectomies, arthritis, balance issues, muscle
loss, constipation, flatus, medications, doctor appointments, and so on all inevitable aspects of
aging? Time certainly impacts our bodies, but we are more in control of how it all goes down
than we might realize. Many people (including clinicians) are unaware of the influence fascia
has on our musculoskeletal and internal organ systems. Identification of and attention to fascial
dysfunction can go a long way in keeping us optimally mobile and functional throughout the
years. The time to start intervening and preventing these issues isn’t once the falls begin and
the stairs become painful – it’s NOW! The sooner fascial issues are addressed the better the
outcome. In this session we will explore how early identification and resolution of fascial
dysfunction can address these issues holistically, providing alternatives to medications and
surgery.
